Otto was an early developing precocious pup with five tool talent. He was pointing scent with style at four months. He is a tenacious retriever and backed naturally. In addition to these attributes, his calling card has always been bird finding ability and intensity.

With limited runs, he qualified for Regionals in NSTRA and won the Glacier Gun Dog championship and was runner up twice in four years. He led a guide dog string and displayed his prowess on planted or wild birds be it huns, sharpies, chukar or pheasants. The brown dog has what it takes to put birds to the gun. Otto is everything a German Shorthaired Pointer is supposed to be.
